Cream Cheese Cake Mix Cookies

I have a secret, well maybe not a big secret!  I leave a plate of fresh baked cookies with a sign that says "Please Help Yourself to a Cookie" each time someone comes to look at my house!  I'm one of those people!  I think it gives a nice welcome to the agents and potential buyers.  And, what better way to make your home stand out in their minds than with some delicious cookies?!  What do you think?  Would you eat cookies left on the kitchen counter if you were looking at a home to buy?   Do you think it's too much?

Now, that doesn't mean you all should make appointments to look at my house just to get your hands on some cookies!  You can just call me and come on over!

These are super easy and you can make them in any flavor that strikes your fancy!  Take a look and grab your ingredients and give these a try, your friends and family will not be disappointed.

Cream Cheese Cake Mix Cookies
(from Just A Pinch)

1 box cake mix, any flavor
8oz cream cheese, room temperature
1/4 cup butter, room temperature
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup any add-in

1. Preheat oven to 375°.
2. Cream together cream cheese and butter.  Add egg and vanilla, mix well until thoroughly blended.
3. Stir in cake mix a little at a time until it's all blended.  Then add any chips, candy, nuts, etc. as you like.
4. Bake in preheated oven on parchment paper lined baking sheets for 10 minutes, or until edges are brown.

*I used Neufchatel which prevented the dough from spreading, but they are delicious!  We used a Butter Recipe mix with milk chocolate chips and a strawberry cake mix with white chips.
